The Author
Michele Giuseppe Greca was born on 20th April 1966 in Enna Italy. His scientific humanistic education comes from classical studies, carried out at the “Aeschylus classical high school” in Gela, followed by a degree in Statistics obtained at the Catholic University of Milan, but his friendly and barrier-free personality comes from his childhood in Congo.
He hadn’t even turned a year old when his parents moved with him in Africa; His world became suddenly an isolated villa surrounded by dense vegetation, immersed in the essential and most beautiful aspects of life and wild nature; no days to count, no goods to buy; no concept of money; a childhood in the wild in close contact with Africa in the 60s; he returned to Italy at the age of 6 speaking French, Congolese and Italian but without any conception of the evolved world;
The childhood spent in Congo greatly contributed to the formation of a strong, determined and very intuitive character and endowed with the right flexibility necessary to face the daily challenges during his stays in emerging markets. Since 1990 he has overseen the family business, giving it international success until it has become a company recognized among the world players in the supply of "customized" solutions for energy, a business developed thanks to the passion for travel, human relationships, and the desire to contribute to the development of the population of the less well-off.
